Description
Description Boulder Imaging is seeking a Material Logistics Associate who will be a key member of our Supply Chain (SC) Team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying received items to orders, marking materials with identifying information and helping coordinate the movement of materials throughout the facilities and preparing outgoing shipments of materials. Material movement may occur with the use of pallet jacks or carts, but candidates should be prepared to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds. This role will also help support other teams as needed. Requirements Receive and transport incoming materials to inventory. Verify shipments against purchase orders and log receipts in the inventory system of record. Identify and report damaged or incorrect items to the buyer to rectify problems. Use computer systems for preparing, tracking, logging, verifying, and reporting. Handle merchandise in the warehouse by packaging, lifting items as necessary, and operating pallet jacks for large goods. Prepare packages for shipment by packing contents, attaching shipping labels and confirming accuracy of shipment. Maintain an inventory of consumables/packaging products including labels, boxes, envelopes, packing paper, and packing tape. Label and store received items, in accordance to labeling specifications and inventory procedures. Conduct cyclic inventory counts and electronic logging. Operate pallet jacks, carts, and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials throughout the facility. Interact professionally and positively with team members, visitors, and drivers. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards. Desired Qualifications and Skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Self-starter with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Education, Work Experience and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent required. 0-3 years material handling experience. Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, etc). Previous experience with Inventory Systems / ERPs (a plus). Forklift certification (a plus). HazMat DOT, IATA, IMDG Shipper Training (a plus). International Trade Compliance Training (a plus).
