Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and skilled warehouse Material and Logistics Planner at our customers automotive site based in Halewood.
This amazing role will see you linking all onsite material planning and logistics activities inline with CEVA functional teams to deliver varying project requirements. You will respond and effectively plan for changes in the supply chain caused by demand variances, cost or customer challenges.
This pivotal role will see you based at our Halewood operation Monday to Friday, you will need to be flexible in working hours and days dependant on project needs, therefore weekend work may be required.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into Senior Planning Manager your main areas of responsibility will be:
Calculate the volumes and flows of parts throughout the operation. (PREP)
Conduct regular resource planning to identify and fulfil resources and skills required to meet business needs and objectives.
Design parts layout in the warehouse and lineside environments considering LEAN methodologies.
Work with the production and operational teams to identify suitable delivery methods.
Provide detailed logistics support at the request of the customer.
Benchmark and review current operations to ensure a best-in-class service.
Advocate a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Support in the development of the planning master schedule.
Support ERP system development, testing and reporting issues.
Ensure the timely delivery of all projects, highlighting risks and providing solutions.
