The main requirements of this position are to lead, plan and develop the Materials supply obligations. Maintaining a proactive, positive and consistent approach to assist all internal and customer project functions in support of common project goals. This role forms part of the Project Core Team liaising directly with Operations, Engineering, Planning, Commercial, Local and Supply Chain Management functions. The primary goal is to provide an efficient and effective Material Supply to the operations team and enable them to maintain the service availability of the depot fleets; whilst managing material cost and inventory in line with budget and cost down processes. Responsibility for performance, reporting and development of the Materials team, and the communication routes for materials and Procurement issues within the business.Contributing to a work environment that fosters pride in being part of a winning team and promotes personal growth. Maintaining a positive attitude you are responsible for supporting the company vision and mission. The materials manager is required to be self sufficient and a subject matter expert. The resolution of supply chain issues will be lead and resolved through persistent management of stakeholders and suppliers.
