Description
ICON is looking for a Material Operator to be a part of a growing team to produce reinforcement for construction 3D printing. Primary responsibilities will be to run various production equipment which includes ensuring the quality control of fabricated materials, organize and kit project needs and requests, and any testing to ensure the product meets the desired specifications. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX location and will report to the Manager on ICON’s Material Operations team. RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate and maintain production equipment Weigh and measure materials Collect data Manipulate raw materials and sort inventory Clean facility, grounds, and work area Operate forklift and other heavy machinery MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years experience working within construction materials (examples: rebar, heavy machinery, drills, circle saws, etc) Ability to lift 50+ lbs Forklift experience PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: OSHA 10 Certified Technical degree or experience working with machinery Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite ICON is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an innovative, inclusive, diverse and discrimination-free work environment.
