Description
Purpose: Responsible for monitoring and driving material needs for Systems Integration Department (SID). Mitigate any risk to deliveries and provide timely escalations to the Sales & Program Team to deploy and coordinate resources to meet committed delivery. Key Area Responsibilities: Plan overall materials and Assembly operations to meet PCDs in Baan are key to identifying bottlenecks thereby mitigating the risk to missed committed dates for order completion. Execute Project Closing once Sales Orders (S/O) have been maintained for Finance to begin accounting process. Facilitate Return Material Authorization (RMA) orders from customer to address warranty claims or refurbished orders. Support and participate in company continuous improvement program to advise on areas for improvements within the scope of Plan to Deliver. Activate Project (Build Plan/ Non-Build Plan) to start all relevant transactions to order the required materials for a customer order across different stakeholders ranging from Sales, Operations to Supply Chain. Monitor and mitigate economic stock to reduce overall project economic stock for reallocation for future orders or claiming liability from customers. Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, supply chain, logistics management or other relevant disciploes Minimum 2 years of experience as material planner in manufacturing industry -
