Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems for material planning and inventory management; experience with JDE is a significant asset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data entry.
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Solid understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and production planning principles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for reporting and analysis.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a strong asset.
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a material planning, scheduling, or inventory control role.
Demonstrated experience with ERP/MRP systems is essential for this role.
A valid forklift license and experience operating a forklift is required.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities

Analyze production schedules and material requirements to determine the necessary quantity and timing of material deliveries.
Create, schedule, and execute cycle counts according to a set schedule to ensure inventory accuracy.
Enter cycle count data into the ERP/MRP system and maintain comprehensive documentation for the program.
Assist in maintaining highly accurate records and reports, including inventory levels, in-process production status, and material location.
Collaborate closely with procurement, logistics, accounting, and customer service departments to ensure the timely delivery of all materials and finished products.
Monitor material flow and work processes to identify and address potential shortages or bottlenecks, expediting parts as needed.
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to assist with material handling and inventory movements as required.
Communicate with department supervisors and production staff to assess progress, discuss necessary changes, and distribute work orders.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the supply chain and production teams.
