Description
Job Purpose Lead and manage end‑to‑end supply chain operations including supplier management, material planning, procurement coordination, inbound/outbound logistics, warehouse operations, and inventory control to ensure uninterrupted production and on‑time customer delivery.Job Duties and Responsibilities A. Material Planning & Procurement Execute MRP-based planning for RM/PM to ensure uninterrupted supply. Monitor shortages, expedite critical materials, and maintain optimum safety stock. Coordinate with suppliers for delivery adherence and schedule compliance. B. Supplier & Vendor Management Track supplier delivery performance and conduct regular follow-ups. Support cost improvement, quality compliance, and vendor capability development. C. Inbound & Outbound Logistics Plan inbound logistics, freight, transit time, and routing efficiency. Manage outbound shipments, dispatch planning, customer delivery, and OTD. Ensure 100% documentation compliance (e-way bills, LR, transport docs). D. Warehouse & Inventory Management Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch activities. Implement FIFO/FEFO, cycle counts, stock accuracy, and space optimization. Ensure ERP/WMS data accuracy and traceability. E. Cross-Functional Coordination Work closely with PPC, Production, Quality, Finance, Logistics, and Sales. Support engineering changes (ECN) and customer schedules (forecast/firm orders). F. KPIs, Compliance & Cost Control Monitor key KPIs: Inventory Turns, OTD, Supplier Delivery, Freight Cost/Unit, Plan Adherence. Drive cost-saving initiatives in materials, logistics, and packaging. Ensure compliance with IATF, QMS, EHS, and audit requirements. Education and Qualifications Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.Good understanding of supply chain processes: material planning, logistics, warehouse, procurement.Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/etc.) preferred.Strong analytical, coordination, communication skills.candidates with 10–14 years of experience in Supply Chain / MP&L / Warehouse may apply.Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of MRP, material planning, and supplier follow‑up.Understanding of inbound/outbound logistics, freight, and documentation (e-way bill, LR, etc.).Proficiency in warehouse operations, FIFO/FEFO, cycle counting, and stock accuracy.Ability to work cross‑functionally with PPC, Production, Quality, and Logistics teams.Good knowledge of KPIs: Inventory Turns, OTD, Supplier Delivery, Freight Cost/Unit.Strong problem-solving, decision‑making, and coordination skills.Working knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/WMS tools.Ability to work in fast-paced manufacturing/plant environment.Awareness of QMS, IATF, and EHS requirements.
