Location: Katowice, Poland Hybrid About the position We are looking for a Material Planner for our Kleve factory who will be based in Katowice, Poland. The main objectives of the role are: Ensuring timely delivery of assigned ingredients and packaging materials to support uninterrupted production. Coordinating necessary transports to support the material plan, including daily adjustments according to the current production schedule. Monitoring inventory to reduce the risk of obsolete materials. Managing relaunch processes according to FIFO principles. You will: Order assigned ingredients and packaging materials in a timely manner, including coordination with the designated suppliers. Process exception messages and reports generated by the SAP system on a daily basis. Coordinate necessary transports, adapting daily to the current production plan. Verify goods receipts in SAP and manage delivery notes for accuracy and proper storage. Control and process invoices and credit notes via the DCIW workflow. Monitor inventory to reduce the risk of obsolete materials, maintain the obsolete risk file, and ensure timely financial reservations. Collaborate smoothly with the central procurement group and central material planning regarding contract monitoring, coordination of packaging units, and determination of contract volumes. Maintain master data in all relevant systems in a timely manner. Participate in projects related to the introduction of new items, artwork updates, or product changes. Edit and control artwork changes and workflows. Plan phase-out and phase-in activities for new ingredients or materials. Communicate relevant schedules, risks, and updates to stakeholders. Book and track pallets, delivery boxes, and other materials for incoming and outgoing goods using Excel. Analyze information and prepare summary reports. So what does it take to be successful in this role? You are a professional with a background in supply chain, logistics, or equivalent professional experience. You have experience in procurement and negotiation roles, strong stakeholder management skills, and are fluent in written and spoken English, with German being a plus.
