"- Run Distribution Requirement Planning process on its perimeter. - Define and update stock parameters to achieve service level objectives while optimizing inventory level. - Manage the purchase order portfolio, analyze stock discrepancies and perform adjustments." "Responsible for material replenishment (raw material, components and/or finished goods). - Use MRP (right balance of Resource Vs Demand) to ensure stock availability on time at right place. - Collaborate with Upstream and Downstream Planning Leader and Supply and Inventory Planner." Entry level with Advanced Education to 3 years experience but may have some general working experience or obtained broad knowledge through extensive work experience in relevant role(s) plans, schedules and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production. Develops raw materials requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse and production. May use Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) systems. May negotiates lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery. Responsibilities
The role is responsible for running the Distribution Requirement Planning process, defining and updating stock parameters to meet service levels while optimizing inventory. This includes managing the purchase order portfolio, analyzing stock discrepancies, and ensuring material replenishment for raw materials, components, and finished goods using MRP.
