Job Description At TOMRA RECYCLING we are looking for a Material Planner who will drive an efficient flow of materials, maintain optimal inventory levels, and effectively balance supply and demand. Your responsibilities will be: Key Responsibilities Manage material requirements planning (MRP) activities to ensure the timely availability of materials Process all purchasing-related documentation, including Requests for Quotation (RFQs), Purchase Orders (POs), Order Confirmations (OCs), returns, and invoices for machines, services, and prototypes Monitor and maintain inventory levels in line with business objectives, ensuring service continuity and minimising production downtime Work closely with the strategic sourcing team to address supplier capacity constraints, perform analysis, and provide demand data to support sourcing strategies Regularly review and optimise MRP parameters to improve material replenishment processes Ensure the accuracy and consistency of master data within relevant systems Collaborate with the strategic sourcing team on supplier performance monitoring and evaluation Process supplier claims in cooperation with the Quality department Collaboration and Communication Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, including procurement, quality, and operations teams Support cross-functional collaboration to achieve shared business goals Compliance and Standards Follow guidance from the line manager and leadership team Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and company standards Comply with relevant legislation, as well as occupational health and safety (OHS), fire safety, and environmental requirements Attend training sessions and business trips as required Quality and Continuous Improvement Contribute to achieving the organisation’s quality policy and objectives through day-to-day work and behaviour Follow all requirements set out in the quality management system documentation Promote a safe working environment by supporting the goal of zero accidents and reducing near misses and injuries within own area of responsibility Qualifications Candidate Profile: We are looking for an individual who brings a combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a collaborative approach: Proven experience (minimum of 3 years) in material planning within a manufacturing environment Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and support decision-making Solid experience working with ERP systems and tools A lean mindset, with flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and environments Results-oriented, open-minded, and equipped with strong problem-solving capabilities A collaborative team player with excellent networking skills and a strong customer focus Proficiency in English is essential; German language skills would be considered an advantage Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Additional Information Benefits: Salary from XXXX eur brutto pm depending on candidate´s skills and experience 13th-month salary regardless to company results Annual bonus Flexible working time and pleasant Nordic culture in the workplace Contribution to DDS Financial reward for seniority 2 days holiday beyond the scope of the Labor Code Meal vouchers in the amount of 7,40€ Referral bonus 1500€ Childbirth grant Financial contribution for education - English language course + free training within the scope of work Possibility to participate in fire sports activities - football, tennis, table tennis, volleyball, Multisport card ...and many more! *Tomra does not differentiate on the basis of gender, race or ethnicity, religion, color, sexual orientation or identity, disability, age and other protected statuses as given by applicable law.
