Job Summary: The Material Planner-Combo/Excavator is responsible for facilitating the flow of parts into the Combo and Excavator Departments. Duties/Responsibilities: * Analyze usage to set up ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on new parts * Analyze history and usage to maintain correct ROP/ROQ Points and Replenishment Methods on current parts * Scan buy cards into the kanban database for Combo and Excavator Departments * Review card scans in database and approve or reject based on history and need * Work with production floor in expediting needed parts * Communicate with purchasing the need for parts expediting * Breakdown of work order and ordering of work order specific parts * Maintain work order packet for upcoming units for Combo and Excavator * Participating in Kaizen events * Performs other related duties as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: * Experience in a manufacturing environment helpful * Understanding of lean manufacturing and 5S * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite related software * Proficient in Smartsheet, Power BI and other data software * Strong communication skills are required to interact with internal customers * Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines and follow through on order completion * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Ability to work independently Education and Experience: * Manufacturing Experience Preferred Physical Requirements: * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer * Must be able to lift15 pounds at times * Must be able to walk up and down stairs several times a day Commitments and Location: * Permanent Full-Time Role Based in Dixon, IL * Monday-Friday7:30 am - 4:00pm Benefits: * Health Dental and Vision Insurance available after 60 days of employment * Company paid Life, Short, & Long Term Disability Insurance * 401k with company match after one year of employment * Paid time off with holidays
