Description BASIC FUNCTION: To process, price and transfer purchased goods for the stores. The hourly wage for the Material Processor position is $13.73 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Separate, price and pack all purchased goods in a timely manner Price/transfer new goods according to department standards Accurately complete required paper work and account for inventory dollars Completely deactivate any necessary labeling according to vendor agreements Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the Purchased Goods area and assigned workstations. Scan incoming deliveries Routinely use a computer to check in, price check, scan product and process transfers. Some mathematical ability. Retail experience preferred. PHYSICAL/EMOTIONAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste or smell and operate computer. The employee must often lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Well developed sense of responsibility and coping ability.
