JOB SUMMARY

This Material Program Manager (MPM) role is responsible for managing supply chain tasks in support of key production contracts. As an MPM, you will be the liaison between the program and the supply base, working to ensure material requirements are met for a franchise production program. Key responsibilities include the following: developing and implementing material strategies, monitoring and driving supplier deliveries, contributing to material forecasts, EACs, and proposals as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Financial/Business acumen as it relates to a US Defense contracting environment
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Excel, Powerpoint and Word, MS Project is a plus)
  • Experience or familiarity with SAP/PRISM
  • CORE Apprentice certification
