Raytheon is seeking a Material Program Manager (MPM) to support the sustainment, development and production across the NAVY Programs for Electro-Optical (EO) & Infrared (IR) Solutions. The (MPM) role, within RTX, requires the individual to have demonstrated project management experience and to be accountable for overall supplier management, performance and success. As the interface between Supply Chain, the Program Office/Integrated Product Team (IPT), supplier, and other functions working on both development and production contracts; this role is responsible for executing to outlined supply chain strategies and supporting organizational and program objectives. What You Will Do Oversee TINA (Truth in Negotiations Act) suppliers, with focus on collaborating with the Program IPTs (Integrated Product Teams) to ensure cost effective material availability for production requirements. Proactively monitor and manage performance metrics (cost, schedule, quality, EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems)) to ensure alignment with program objectives. Support program capture efforts with New Business Team to get compliant material pricing submittals and develop BOE’s (Basis of Estimates) for MPM support labor. Create, manage, and execute MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance, from the front end of the business through contract closure. Provide Supply Chain support for RLPM (RTX Lifecycle Program Management) Gates 0-11 activities and ensures IPDP (Integrated Product Development Process) compliance with the programs and tailoring when applicable. Provide financial management such as EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc. Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS. Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including other RI&S programs commonality. Travel domestically not more than 15%. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience. Minimum 3 years experience in a supply chain function/role. Experience managing/analyzing supplier performance relative to financials, performance metrics, and/or contract compliance. Qualifications We Prefer Supplier/subcontract management experience. Supply chain experience within the Aerospace or Defense industry. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
