About the Position: As a Warehouse Material Specialist, you will play a vital role in sorting of finished goods at the warehouse. Available Shifts: Days: 8 Hour Shifts Monday- Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain adequate inventory levels of all materials in well-organized, designated storage areas. Drive and deliver goods using a forklift. Housekeeping. Perform other diversified tasks as assigned by the supervisor. Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment Maintain a clean and operational forklift including the checking of fluids. Loading of tractor-trailers utilizing a forklift. Duties & Expectations on the Job: Run a safe, clean operation which promotes zero accidents. Meet production and delivery schedules. Maintain accuracy in shipping correct quantities per customer order. Be to work on time all scheduled days. Other duties and special projects as assigned by Management. Prefer knowledge of plastic resins, colorants, and all materials that are used in the manufacturing of finished goods. Prefer knowledge of finished goods as it relates to shipping and customer orders. Must be able to pass background check. Must have a driver’s license with clean driving record. Must have flexibility in schedule to accommodate overtime as needed including occasional weekends.
Responsibilities
As a Warehouse Material Specialist, you will sort finished goods and maintain inventory levels. You will also drive and deliver goods using a forklift and adhere to safety procedures.
