Job Purpose and Impact Job type: Full timeShifts available: 1st shift Compensation: Training Pay: $22.63/hr Full Pay: $23.63/hr Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Access to discounted daycare tuition and priority access at local Sidney YMCA childcare center New, easy-to-apply options are available for this role: chat with our recruiting assistant Ana at careers.cargill.com or text CargillJobs to 60196.Key Accountabilities Principal Accountabilities: Operate mobile powered equipment to stage and place production materials at, and on production lines Follow production schedule and issue materials for production Operate de-palletizer robot, and all other associated production equipment Perform line changeovers as needed Change parts and pieces needed to go from one product to another Troubleshoot equipment failures and perform minor maintenance on this equipment Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations(including food safety policies and procedures) Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications: Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) Basic use of a computer Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice Preferred Qualifications: Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems Experience working in a production related work Inventory systems knowledge High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience operating mobile powered equipment including standup and sitdown forklifts or clamp trucks.
