The ideal candidate for this role will be experienced in forklift operation, shipping documents, and scheduling shipping containers/trucks according to a ship plan. Experience with AS400 or CSI Syteline a major plus. Requirements ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Pulls and stages units according to serial number (prints labels and bill-of-lading, puts labels and packing list on units). 2. Checks all material to be packaged against shipping order for accuracy and stores in proper area. 3. Verifies picklist with bill-of-lading. 4. Assembles appropriate containers, inserts items into containers using required filler and accessories. 5. Closes container using staples, nails, tape, strapper, etc. 6. Stencils or pastes identifying information and/or shipping instructions onto containers. 7. Separates and organizes boxed parts on skids. 8. Maintains inventory records and shipping supplies (i.e. past, stencil, fillers, labels, etc.). 9. Loads and unloads packaged product onto transportation vehicles from warehouse. 10. Checks door locks and jackstands. OTHER DUTIES: Performs preventive maintenance on material handling equipment. Maintains cleanliness of work area and follows safe work practice rules. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required.
