Job Description Job Description The Material Test Engineer will prepare test specimens, execute material and coating tests, register and report results, support investigations, and ensure lab compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare test specimens (cutting, embedding, polishing, coating, conditioning) per test procedures Execute tests including tensile, hardness, impact, stone chipping, salt spray, coating thickness, color measurement, microscopy inspections Follow internal standards and international test methods (ISO, ASTM, DIN, IEC) Register test results in lab systems; maintain complete records Produce test reports including sample details, methods, results, graphs, and observations Support data interpretation and root cause investigations; escalate deviations and out-of-spec results Support audits, calibration activities, and quality assurance Follow safety requirements for facility and lab operations Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or technical qualification in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical field Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset; strong communication and teamwork; ability to multitask; proactive problem-solver Additional Information Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted Contract/country: Contractor/Freelance Job family: Workshop - Maintenance
