Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Tukwila, WA that is a leading global aerospace company and top U.S. exporter, Boeing develops, manufactures and services commercial airplanes, defense products and space systems for customers in more than 150 countries. Essential Function: Develops NDE procedures in support of airline customer maintenance inspections Designs NDE reference standards in support of inspection procedures Develops engineering specifications and other documents to meet customer needs Assists in evaluation of emerging technologies for potential application to business needs Assists with development and qualification of new tools, equipment, materials, parts and processes to meet requirements Performs routine tests and audits to qualify suppliers to applicable requirements Assists in implementing corrective and preventive actions Uses project management tools to meet cost, technical, and schedule requirements Incorporates environmental health and safety, LEAN and Quality principles into (1) materials and processes, (2) research, design and qualification, (3) work procedures and (4) labs and office areas Requirements Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 1+ years of engineering experience Preferred Skills: Experience with CAD systems such as CATIA, Solidworks Experience with NDI systems: ultrasonics, eddy current Experience in aviation and/or aerospace Experience working in multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication skills Excellent skills with various computing systems Excellent documentation and technical writing skills Excellent time management skills to manage several simultaneous projects effectively and across various geographical locations Knowledge of materials science with metals and/or composites
