Under the general direction of the Business Service Officer I Supervisor, the specialist is responsible for the receipt, storage, inventory, cleaning and distribution of modular and conventional furniture, office chairs and ergonomic electric desk\dual work fits. Performs lead functions including assigning work for warehouse workers, coordinates workload flow and establishes job priorities, reviews job assignments to ensure best utilization of personnel and follows through to see that workload turnaround requirements are met. Receives incoming shipments ensuring for accuracy, checks incoming purchase orders, prepares bill of lading documents for shipments. Captures data, prepares reports and manages the Hayworth/PIA modular furniture inventory database. Position requires very good interpersonal skills, ability to be a team leader, work successfully with a wide variety of users, the ability to take direction and problem solve, the ability to work independently and use tact and good judgment. Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse to optimize space and process flow.
Position may be extended to up to 24 months or become permanent.
