JOB SUMMARY:

Materials Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance, monitoring performance, and supporting data-driven decision-making in supply chain operations. This role involves analyzing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) metrics, tracking city-specific regulations, managing customer contracts, and maintaining scorecards and audits to uphold operational excellence.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Environmental Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years’ experience in supply chain analytics, compliance, or a related field in an automotive manufacturing environment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and contract management software.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to EHS and supply chain operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in supply chain compliance and performance tracking.
  • Ability to manage diverse responsibilities across regulatory, safety, contractual, and operational areas.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
Responsibilities
  • Track and interpret city-specific regulations, policies, and ordinances affecting supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local requirements, including zoning, transportation, and environmental standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between the supply chain team and local authorities to address regulatory challenges.
  • Analyze EHS data to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor incidents and propose preventative measures to minimize risks.
  • Create and update EHS reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicator (KPI) scorecards for supply chain operations.
  • Analyze scorecard data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct internal audits to assess adherence to operational and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare for and support external audits by regulatory bodies or third-party organizations.
  • Document findings and follow up on corrective actions to close compliance gaps.
  • Review and manage supply chain-related customer contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Analyze contractual obligations to identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.
  • Work with legal and operational teams to negotiate amendments or resolve disputes.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data across multiple supply chain areas to support decision-making.
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations for senior management and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to compliance, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • All other duties as assigned.
