The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for a dynamic Materials Controller to join our team in Cork ! In this multi-disciplinary role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a site inventory management program. This includes inventory management, supporting the day-to-day movement of stock, metric review, purchasing, receiving, storeroom management, product delivery and general customer services activities.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday with early starting hours 6:20-6:30. No evening shifts or weekend work.

EDUCATION

Completed leaving certificate and 1- 3 years of equivalent experience as material handler/inventory replenishment, warehouse or relevant field.

EXPERIENCE

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Confortable working with Microsoft Office. SAP is a plus
• Good analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
• Reliability and dependability
• Literacy and numeracy
• Self-motivated, energetic, dependable and precise attention to detail
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• Full clean driving license and own car to easily reach the customer site

Familiarity with SAP is a plus

• Familiarity with GMP is a plus
