This particular role is at our Bakkavor Salads site, based in Bourne and specialises in preparing fruit, leafy salads, and stir fry mixes. It employs over 1,200 people and is only 16 miles from Peterborough and 12 miles from Spalding.

ABOUT THE ROLE.

The role of the Materials function is to schedule the inbound materials at Bourne Prepared Produce, to coordinate with production areas to not expose the site to risk of shortages. To Maintain stock levels within parameters to ensure low stock holding but will still keep stock readily available.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:-

• To Maintain standards of information produced to ensure accurate materials (inbound and outbound) schedules are sustained
• Forecast, order and schedule materials into the business in order to fulfil all sales within specified stock holding levels.
• Pro-actively contribute to improvement activities
• Participate in NPD, ensuring all new products for launch are researched with the procurement teams so that pre-pro’s and launches are undertaken smoothly within the business.
• To ensure the delivery of agreed KPI’s across the operation banner are complied with and that the department KPIS are adhered to and maintain at all times.
• Actively seek coaching and development to the required level of competence to encourage continuous improvement within the department and the business.
