    We are looking for a new Materials Controller, to work alongside our already established team! You will be responsible for ensuring the effective processing of accurate stock transactions, goods distribution and the safeguarding of company assets. A key element of your role will be to ensure you adhere to business policies, procedures and guidelines, alongside managing internal and external relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Timebound goods in/out
  • Tight inventory control
  • Accurately maintain Supply Chain system data
  • Ensure effective control of stock into, around and out of the business in-line with procedures and demand
  • Receipt and shipment of service repairs, in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Receipt of PO’s from suppliers
  • Kitting of sales orders and works orders in line with system demand
  • Dispatch of shipments including packing and preparation of courier manifests as appropriate
  • Carrying out perpetual inventory checks to ensure constant accuracy of stock records and actual physical state
  • Ensuring that stock is correctly labelled and stored
  • Liaison with both internal and external customers at all levels
  • Manoeuvring forklift trucks safely, including loading and unloading goods
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations, attending additional courses as and when required
