Description

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • One or two-year certificate from college or technical school and/or 2 years of related experience
  • Construction knowledge a plus
  • Valid Driver license required (CDL preferred)
  • Experience using basic power and hydraulic tools as well as understanding of rigging and small engines
  • Inventory Management
  • Intermediate computer operation skills and familiarity with internet-based program navigation
  • Experience in industrial/renewable energy construction or maintenance
  • Hydraulic Tooling certifications preferred
  • Rigging Inspection certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Be knowledgeable of MIC Health and Safety programs and project specific regulations.
  • When on-site, actively participate in daily toolbox meetings with crews and subcontractors.
  • Set a personal example of safe behavior.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions with precise execution
  • Able to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
  • Read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using while numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
  • Experience in industrial, heavy and/or renewable energy construction
  • Knowledge of Rigging practices
  • Knowledge of small engines preferred
  • Ability to maintain a meticulously organized, clean and functional warehouse

Responsibilities
  • Lead the charge in preparing and loading shipping containers for deployment to project sites.
  • Receive and inspect returned containers, ensuring every item is accounted for and ready for action.
  • Test, evaluate, and make decisions on the repair, replacement, or retirement of tools and equipment.
  • Collaborate with construction teams to anticipate needs and keep projects running smoothly.
  • Maintain a master inventory that keeps our operations efficient and future-ready
