Description
Coordinate materials planning and production strategy for HDT, MFG and Grey Iron. Review HDT OEM and AM customers requirements to fulfill their orders on time and with quality maintaining the focus on main metrics as DOH, Inventory Value, OTD and Past Due. Based on demand, schedule and follow up monthly absorption plans. A. Review SIOP and actual demand from customers, daily follow up to production schedule and monthly Absorption Plan. Close follow up with SIOP Leader B. Align Min-Max Range with SIOP Team, confirm numbers or modifications to meet targets. C. Close communication with Divisional Planners to control items to be within min-max range D. Follow up with Production Planner on material availability for Daily, Weekly and Monthly Plans. E. Follow up with Production Scheduler for Daily and Monthly Production plans to meet target. F. Manage inventory value and DOH for HDT, MFG and Grey Iron to meet the forecast, drive and lead actions for month end inventory reductions G. Create and follow up production and shipping schedule H. Follow up critical shipments to customers and expedited shipments when requested I. Release production plans. Coordinate alignment with production (demand vs capacity). J. Control OTD Delivery Rating system reports according to Profit Plan K. Lead all deviations regarding material availability, (Quality, Logistics, Discrepancies). L. Keep track of HOLD sub inventories (Supplier, Mtls, Insp) assuring material does not stay longer than 5 days. M. Operate with urgency when it's needed to determine how the production line will be producing in accordance with material availability, without affecting customers. E. Implements promotes and maintains a safe work environment by implementing a culture of prevention of accidents, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area. G. Motivate employees to maintain high levels of satisfaction, productivity, and quality through effectively utilizing available rewards and recognition channels to encourage and promote desired behaviors and results. #LI-DG2 Bachelor's degree in administration or related fields. 2 - 4 years' experience in Supply Chain. Advanced English - language capability, speaking, reading & writing required 90%. Broad knowledge in routing, processes and bills of materials. PC Programs (Windows, Oracle). Customer demand analysis. Production line capacity analysis. Customer Service. Manufacturing industry background is a must. A. Inventory Management & Optimization. The ability to ensure product availability through inventory administration activities such as demand planning, stock optimization, and monitoring the age of the product. B. Demand Management. The use of qualitative and quantitative methods to predict short-term incoming demand for use as an input into the Sales, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) process. C. Order Management. The knowledge and skills necessary to manage the receipt and scheduling of customer orders. Processes included in this competency include standard order receipt, exception identification, and exception resolution. D. Materials Replenishment Planning. The knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, scheduling, and inventory management tools and concepts necessary to analyze optimal fulfilment and velocity of materials required in the manufacturing and distribution process E. Master Production Scheduling. The knowledge and creation of an overall production plan over a specified time horizon which includes a list of part numbers, quantities, and due dates. G. Comply with the confidentiality agreements that are applicable and accept the data privacy policy accordingly.
