Job Title: Materials Engineer - FEMALE
Department: Engineering / R&D / Quality
Reports To: Projects Manager / Projects Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Materials Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching, developing, testing, and recommending materials to be used in various products, projects, and construction processes. The role requires deep technical knowledge of materials science, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum [3-5] years of experience as a Materials Engineer
  • Strong knowledge of material properties, testing methods, and industry standards (ASTM, ISO, BS, etc.).
  • Proficient in using materials analysis software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree or additional certifications in materials science or a related specialization.
  • Experience with sustainable and environmentally friendly materials.
  • Familiarity with quality control and assurance systems.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per mont
Responsibilities
  • Research and select appropriate materials for specific applications, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Develop material specifications and ensure material quality during procurement and construction phases.
  • Evaluate the performance of materials through laboratory testing, simulations, and field evaluations.
  • Analyze material failures and recommend appropriate solutions and modifications.
  • Support design and manufacturing teams with technical expertise on materials selection and processing.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality and suitability of delivered materials.
  • Prepare technical reports, material submittal/documentation, and compliance statements for materials used in projects.
  • Ensure all materials used meet environmental and sustainability standards and regulations.
  • Participate in the approval process of materials submittals, method statements, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
  • Keep updated with new material technologies, trends, and advancements.
