Description

Responsibilities:
Noblis MSD is seeking a Materials Engineer to provide engineering, technical, logistics, and obsolescence to support the NAWCAD Engineering & Logistics for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) Mission Operations and Integration (MO&I). Additionally we are supporting their missions’ to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings.
The Materials Engineer will develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of equipment and systems. Key duties include analyzing maintenance data, creating detailed maintenance plans, and optimizing supportability processes. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and logistics teams is essential to coordinate maintenance activities and improve overall system performance. The role also involves monitoring maintenance trends, identifying potential issues, and recommending solutions to enhance operational readiness. Effective communication and analytical skills are required to prepare reports, present findings, and provide recommendations to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s of Science in Materials Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related scientific /technical discipline.

  • 3+ years of materials engineering experience
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner
  • Experience interfacing directly with US military technical representatives
  • Experience working with equipment suppliers and vendors
  • Familiarity military specifications for technical design
