Our goal is to consistently provide products and services that meet and exceed customer’s requirements and expectations.  We do this by recruiting top talent and retaining them through our commitment to professional development and preservation of our culture.     General Position Information   Position Title: Materials I - Picker Business Unit: Shipping & Receiving Reports to: Shipping Coordinator  Effective Date: 4/21/2025 Updated on: 4/21/2025 Span of Control: N/A     JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY    Ground and Freight Picker :    Walking – It must be understood that there will be a considerable amount of walking every day. If that is a problem, this job may not be for you.    Lifting – The employee is expected to lift, stack and push a large number of kits every day.    RF Scanning – This position requires that you develop a detailed understanding of the shipping functions with the scanner. Scanning properly ensures shipment and inventory accuracy, this is a mandatory requirement.    Inventory Control Concepts – Correcting inventory issues as you encounter them. This includes inventory transferring and bin replenishment.      ESSENTIAL DUTIES    Essential results-based duties Ground and Freight Picker: ·        Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled ·        Verify accuracy of orders by matching them with quantities and types ·        Using manual pallet jacks as needed ·        Able to work with a handheld for barcoding ·        Adhering to serialization guidelines when picking     Minimum and Preferred Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * Reading, math, and communication skills * Ability to sort and classify things * Ability to work in loud, noisy, and congested environments * Ability to record and issue proper documentation while receiving and giving material * Knowledge of safety standards * Ability to follow commands and pick the correct materials * Ability to lift up and physically move up to 70 lbs * Be able to pass a drug test
