Description Kalos Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Materials & Inventory Coordinator, Electrical Services to support our growing Electrical Department. This role is a critical link between procurement, warehouse operations, and the field. You will work closely with the Electrical Department Director, Project Managers, Superintendents, and the Warehouse team to ensure materials are properly sourced, received, stored, staged, and delivered for construction and service projects. Your work directly supports field productivity, jobsite efficiency, and quality execution by ensuring our electricians have the right materials, at the right time, in the right condition. Location: Clermont, FL (On-Site) Schedule: Monday - Friday Day Shift, Flexibility when needed to meet project timelines. Compensation: $22–$26 per hour (based on experience) Key Metrics for Review: Accurate and cost-effective purchasing Proactive material planning and availability Inventory accuracy and control Clear communication with field leadership Timely receiving, staging, and distribution of materials Key Responsibilities Procurement & Material Coordination Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with electrical suppliers and vendors Request, review, and organize supplier quotes to ensure cost-effective and timely purchasing Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in compliance with company policies Coordinate with vendors to ensure prompt delivery of electrical gear, panels, conduit, wiring, and fixtures Track, document, and maintain accurate records of all purchase orders and deliveries Assist in reviewing project plans and blueprints to ensure all required materials are captured and ordered Monitor material needs for active and upcoming projects to prevent shortages or delays Communicate material status updates, delays, or issues with Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership Assist with pricing negotiations, delivery schedules, and supplier performance tracking Warehouse & Inventory Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and completeness Coordinate proper storage, labeling, and organization of electrical materials in the warehouse Maintain accurate inventory levels for stock, job-specific materials, and long-lead items Stage and kit materials for upcoming projects and service work to support field efficiency Track material transfers between warehouse and jobsite. Coordinate with the Warehouse team to identify surplus or returned materials that can be reused before purchasing new items Assist with inventory counts, audits, and organization initiatives Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in alignment with company standards Reporting & Process Improvement Generate purchasing and inventory activity reports as needed Assist with budget tracking related to materials and inventory Contribute to process improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve material flow Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, warehouse, or inventory management (construction or electrical strongly preferred. Working knowledge of electrical materials, tools, and equipment preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP, inventory, or procurement systems a plus Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills High attention to detail and accountability in documentation Ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple teams Comfortable working in both office and warehouse environments Benefits: At Kalos, we believe in supporting our employees both at work and in life.
