Description
Ensures the daily, efficient management of Operating Room supplies, equipment, instruments, repairs, etc. Processes, tracks and receives orders for supplies, equipment, instruments and repairs and maintains accurate files relating to the orders. Ensures that all Operating Room supply storage areas are stocked with the appropriate amount and type of supply required on a daily basis. Assists in the overall management of the O.R. Materials Section. Works with O.R. staff and other hospital departments to ensure the overall efficiency of the O.R. supply system. Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required Experience: 2 years' experience in related position or equivalent combination of acceptable post High School training and experience (Required) General Experience with automated materials management systems (Required)
