SALARY: $100,000 - $115,000

We are the leading walk-in van body manufacturer in North America producing over 7,500 vehicles annually. Our portfolio of customers serves a multitude of industries and delivery applications. The primary industry served by these Walk-in vans is parcel package pick up & delivery because most everything ordered on-line is delivered by a Walk-In stepvan. We are looking for a Materials Manager to oversee materials requirements within our facility located in Sturgis, MI.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement and manage planning, scheduling, inventory, material and forecasting
  • Review production requirements and engineering design specifications for raw material or purchased parts ordering and budget process
  • Research the market and negotiate with vendors
  • Place orders for raw materials and oversee shipping of the materials
  • Oversee the inventory available and generate monthly inventory report for higher officials
