POSITION SUMMARY

The Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of material sourcing, planning, and inventory management to ensure reliable support for production and customer demand. This role requires balancing day-to-day execution with long-term strategic planning, while driving safety, quality, and efficiency across the facility.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in supply chain and inventory management systems and key metrics
  • Expertise in visual inventory management
  • Experience completing purchasing and planning functions in ERP systems
  • Proven record of strong analytical and communication skills
  • Able to effectively drive cross-group collaboration and cooperation, using effective communication, project management, and organizational skills
  • Proven communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
  • Ability to display innovative thinking skills and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of basic business financials
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement manufacturing concepts or projects based on the 80/20 principle is a plus
