Description:

SUMMARY

Responsible to manage all aspects of materials flow into and out of Trimaster and HPG, including Raw Material, Subcontract operations, as well as goods and services.
Accountable to maintain control and accuracy over inventories, including all transactions, procurement, APS – Advanced planning and scheduling, cost, warehouse, receiving and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time for the Canadian operation of Precinmac(TMI & HPG). This position is also responsible to develop & manage all supplier relationships to support the Canadian Divisions.
Must have proven record of implementation and development of Advance Planning Systems fully integrated with ERP systems

REQUIREMENTS

  • Five to Ten years’ experience in a leadership position within the Materials field
  • Certifications, APIC (CPIM, CSCP, CLTD), CSCMP, PMAC (CPP) preferred
  • Prove record of Implementation of Advance Planning Systems with multilevel BOM
  • Detailed and Analytical Data Management considered an asset
  • Knowledge in ISO 13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015 considered an asset
  • Identification and implementation of continuous improvement activities
  • High level of written and oral communication, including the ability to develop and provide presentations/ training
  • Effective at developing and leading cross-functional, collaborative teams
  • Motivation/ negotiation skills

Responsibilities:

JOB DUTIES

  • Plan, implement and manage the overall supply chain strategy for the Canadian Precinmac Group including Planning, Customer Service, Procurement, Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse Operations
  • Develop and action key supply chain KPIs to ensure compliance to established yearly objectives
  • Suggest solutions for and lead process improvements; Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
  • Participate in planning with strategic vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure supply chain optimization and security.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors where necessary including miscellaneous and tooling spend.
  • Ensure reporting, performance metrics and control mechanisms exist for current and future requirements
  • Establish and direct programs for cost reduction and value stream analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing in the initial introduction phase of new products into manufacturing for proper execution and optimal supply chain selection.
  • Manage the Capacity Planning Reporting for the individual plant and ensure a balanced approach to utilization
  • Participate in Customer meeting to support current and future business
  • Hire, train, coach and mentor all associates in the use of relevant industry best practices
  • Participate in Site Operation Planning Meeting

  • Weekly – Report out on Schedule Attainment
  • Weekly – Dashboard Readout for all Sites (Planning, Procurement, Sales Reporting)
  • Weekly – Track Inventory trends
  • Weekly – RCCP Reporting
  • Monthly – KPI Reporting for Inventory (valuation and turns)
  • Monthly – KPI Reporting for Purchasing (On Time Delivery, Variance tracking)
  • Monthly – KPI Reporting Sales (On Time delivery)
  • Monthly – Participate in Customer CPFR calls
  • Monthly – PPV Reporting (Purchase Price, Material Usage, Sub Contract consumption)
  • Yearly – Departmental Budget development
