Description
Manage materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant's operations by deploying lean material flow. Direct purchasing of materials from engineer to order products focusing on strategic partnerships Generate short-term production scheduling aligned the plan defined by the Network Monitor execution of production schedule defined by the Network (schedule labor on factory floor, monitor execution of the production plan) Escalate material availability to the Center of Excellence (COE) and Network teams Drive forecast attainment aligned with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) resulted from the Supply, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) plan Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team. Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments,Materials Management Assessment (MMA) / Operational Assessment (OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping Maintain target inventory levels and meeting On Time Delivery (OTD) goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network Responsible for plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and WMS system, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling Point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall Supply, Inventory, & Operations Planning (SIOP) plan Bachelor's degree from accredited institution Minimum five (5) years' combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment Minimum three (3) years of manager of people experience Experience in supporting cross-functional SIOP and Inventory management processes Technical knowledge of forecasting techniques, bill of material structuring and scheduling execution SAP knowledge In-depth knowledge of plant manufacturing processes and value streams from raw materials to finished product APICS CPIM Certification is desirable Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to motivate team members to drive for results
