The group you’ll be a part of Service Parts planning team at Lam research is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Parts Planner with 4–6 years of experience in service parts planning, preferably within the wafer fabrication equipment manufacturing industry. The impact you’ll make As a service parts planner you will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, timely availability of service parts, and alignment with customer service goals. This role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and a solid understanding of supply chain planning tools and processes. What you’ll do • Plan and manage assigned service parts portfolio to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolescence. • Analyze historical usage, forecast demand, and adjust planning parameters accordingly. • Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and service operations teams to ensure timely replenishment. • Work with supply chain in monitoring supplier performance and lead times to mitigate risks and delays. • Maintain planning data accuracy in ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, SPM). • Generate and present reports on inventory health, fill rates, and planning KPIs. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy. Who we’re looking for • 4–6 years of experience in service parts planning, preferably in wafer fab equipment manufacturing. • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field. • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and planning tools (e.g., Kinaxis, SPM etc). • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and data analysis. • Solid understanding of demand forecasting, safety stock calculation, and inventory optimization • Proven ability and skill set to analyze, document and improve business processes with sustained results • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate cross-functionally Preferred qualifications Our commitment We believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
