Materials Planner - Oilfield Services Join our Materials Planning team As a leader in the oilfield services industry, Baker Hughes offers opportunities to grow in our high-performance organization. Play a key role in on time delivery to customers As a Materials Planner you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of the materials required to execute the business. Planners work with sales and commercial teams, regional personnel and supply chain to translate demand into physical orders. Planners work across multiple time horizons to ensure our orders are delivered to meet customer requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for: Analyzing incoming demand, identifies order exceptions, and support customers on supply plant realignment and delivery commitments. Planning and scheduling order timelines to be consistent with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs. Prioritizing and communicating customer requirements to logistics teams for physical processing and final shipment details. Performing various shipping management analysis to prevent or reduce delays on material availability dates, aged shipment status or past due deliveries. Collaborating between multiple teams including purchasing, production, warehouse and logistics to establish the optimal timing for supply commitments Identifying ways to simplify and improve processes as a part of a continuous improvement culture. Organizing reports to provide regions updates on performance and opportunities for improvement. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will have: Associate degree in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience (2+ years’ experience). Be fluent in English Have strong oral and written communication skills. Have experience in inventory or order management, customer service, shipping, or logistics. Have the ability to prioritize and then manage multiple requests at once with a CAN-DO approach. Have demonstrated working knowledge of SAP and Order Management functionality Have basic understanding of excel macros, template utilization and VLOOKUP. Desired to have APICS Certification Desired to have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
