JOB OVERVIEW

Compiles and maintains material inventory and status information to expedite movement of material between supplier and production facility by performing the following duties:

EXPERIENCE

• Advanced computer skills (3-5 years required)
• QAD experience preferred.(3-5 years required)
• Communicate with suppliers when needed(3-5 years required)
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.

EDUCATION

Requires a high school diploma/GED and 1-3 years related experience or combination of education and experience

· Count raw material inventory
· Receive material in
· Adjust material in QAD
· Transfer material in QAD
· Order material according to the schedule
· Communicate with suppliers when needed
· Weekly releases to all suppliers
· Set up trucks to pick from suppliers
· Sustain no more than 1 week worth of material without having to adjust.
· Analyze when raw material is off in QAD help find a reason
· Run the raw material monthly inventory
· Ability to know when too much raw material is being used.
· Adjust raw material if needed due to high scrap·
· All suppliers on min/max in QAD
· All materials on Kan/Ban
· Ability to check shippers.
· Ability to check smart and answer smart.
· Ability to pull releases
· Ability to make Kan/Ban labels.
· Comply with safety regulations & maintain clean and orderly work areas (5S)
