JOB DESCRIPTION

Originally formed as Hampshire Demolition & Recycling, HDR Group covers a range of services including demolition, asbestos removal, land remediation, enabling works, groundworks and civil engineering works. Our highly skilled management team have over 70 years of combined experience working within the building and civil engineering sectors, such as demolition, aviation, residential, rail, highways and concrete frames.

Experience:

• construction buying: 1 year (preferred

• Source and procure a continuous supply of materials and plant / tools to be used on site in construction/demolition projects
• Negotiate with suppliers and plant / tool hire companies to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
• Purchase order processing.
• Check and authorise invoices for payment.
• Resolve invoice queries in a timely professional manner.
• Using Excel daily to update reports and entering Purchase Orders into the system.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and plant / tool hire companies.
• Constantly assessing processes within the department and suggesting improvements
• Management responsibility for office (non-stock) purchases.
• Managing suppliers and negotiating “best value, best price”
• Collating management information.

  Pay: £25,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
