Atlantic Health is seeking a dependable Full Time **Materials Representative** to support the daily operations in our Supply Distribution Department out of Chilton Medical Center. This entry-level position plays a vital role in receiving and distributing supplies and necessary materials throughout our network. This position is M-F from 6a-2p, with two weekends per month. The incumbent will be responsible for providing logistical support to the designated department through routine supply replenishment workflows. Primarily focuses on the daily receiving, breakdown, distribution and stocking of generic supplies. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. 2. Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. 3. Examines incoming shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. 4. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation. 5. Determines method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. 6. Prepares materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping. Prepares necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading. 7. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. 8. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. 9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
