Description We are seeking a Materials Specialist who is fluent in Korean and English (reading, writing, and speaking required) to support material planning, inventory control, and production line support in a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment. This role ensures materials are available to meet production schedules while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting effective communication between Korean-speaking leadership and plant teams. · Support daily material flow to production lines to meet manufacturing schedules · Communicate and translate materials-related information between Korean- and English-speaking teams as needed · Monitor inventory levels and assist with inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and reconciliation · Coordinate material movement, storage, and staging within the plant · Support receiving, issuing, and line-side delivery of materials · Assist with material shortages, expedites, and problem resolution · Maintain accurate materials documentation, reports, and records · Support continuous improvement initiatives related to materials flow and efficiency · Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and company procedures What we offer · Competitive pay and benefits · Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) · Paid time off and holidays · Career growth and development opportunities Requirements · Fluent in Korean and English (reading, writing, and speaking required) · Strong organizational skills and attention to detail · Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment · Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) · Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred · Automotive manufacturing experience · 2+ years of experience in materials, logistics, or manufacturing operations · Experience supporting Korean leadership or global manufacturing organizations · Experience with inventory control systems or SAP systems · Forklift, Drexel, or other material-handling equipment experience · Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or material flow principles
