Apply now so we can make a lasting impact together! General Respobsibilities Implement US Department of Health and Human Services Head Start program performance standards. Manage case load for Expectant Mother’s Initiative, providing guidance and technical assistance. Conduct recruitment activities, maintaining a census of 26 pregnant or postpartum women. Develop and maintain record-keeping and reporting systems. Implement prenatal and postnatal curricula, informing parents of community health resources. Assist expectant mothers with appointments and home visits. Conduct training for expectant mothers and families, investigating health-related issues. Promote preventative health services and early intervention, monitoring activities. Assist women and children in obtaining dental and medical services and determining financial eligibility for program enrollment. Ensure prenatal and postnatal medical exams are completed, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned within the guidelines of this position. Minimum of one year of experience in maternal and child health or related social services field with pregnant women and/or young children. Bilingual Spanish oral and written skills required. Knowledge of maternal-infant health and child abuse/neglect dynamics. Familiarity with health resources in Will and surrounding counties. Excellent organizational skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures and backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Passage of background clearance, physical, and TB test, with valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of liability insurance.
