Overview:
National Louis University’s LE3 Program is currently seeking Adjunct Faculty to join our Undergraduate Innovation - LE3 Program team for our 2025 Terms.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking innovative, student-centered professionals to serve as Adjunct Faculty-Coaches This dual-role position combines instructional duties with student coaching responsibilities You will facilitate at least one 4-week online course throughout a 12-week quarter.
The ideal candidate is a strong facilitator with professional experience and a coaching mindset, capable of building trust, guiding reflection, comfortable using digital tools, and passionate about supporting the growth of diverse, working adult learners.

  • Masters degree or higher AND at least one of the following
Responsibilities

UNLIKE TRADITIONAL ADJUNCT ROLES THAT FOCUS SOLELY ON CONTENT DELIVERY, THIS HYBRID ROLE POSITIONS YOU AS A RELATIONAL EDUCATOR AND COACH, HELPING STUDENTS NAVIGATE THE INTERSECTION OF WORK, SCHOOL, AND LIFE. YOU’LL WORK IN A DYNAMIC, MISSION-DRIVEN ENVIRONMENT THAT EMPHASIZES:

  • Durable skills development (e.g., communication, decision-making, self-awareness)
  • Real-time application of learning at students’ workplaces
  • Ongoing coaching relationships that grow throughout the quarter
  • Integrated teaching and coaching models within a supportive team.
    Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements

  • Masters degree or higher AND at least one of the following:

    • 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field
  • OR
  • Track record of teaching appointments and demonstrated skill in teaching quantitative literacy and/or statistics at the secondary level or higher
  • OR
  • Track record of appointments and demonstrated skill at providing academic support for college-level math and/or statistics
  • 3+ years of professional experience in leadership, facilitation, workforce development, or adult learning.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse, working adult learners.
  • Comfort with digital tools (Zoom, D2L, Slack, etc.)
