POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable In-Person Math and Programming/Computer Science Tutor to work with elementary school students in Vaughan. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of mathematics and programming fundamentals, enjoys teaching children, and can create engaging lessons that make learning fun and effective.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong academic background in Math, Programming, or Computer Science (high school graduates, university students, or graduates welcome).
• Prior tutoring/teaching experience with kids (formal or informal) preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to travel to Vaughan for in-person sessions.

• Provide in-person tutoring for elementary students in Math and introductory Programming/Computer Science.
• Deliver clear, engaging, and age-appropriate lessons.
• Support students with homework, projects, and skill-building activities.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs.
• Track student progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
• Maintain a positive, supportive, and motivating learning environment.
