QUALIFICATIONS

• OCT license (or other teaching licenses from Canadian provinces/territories) is required OR working in their field of study for over 3 years
• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, bachelor’s degree in science, Education, or related field in Canada
• Must have attended high school in Canada
• Previous experience in teaching or tutoring is a plus
• Must be familiar with the Ontario school curriculum
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to create engaging and interactive learning experiences
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Patience and empathy when working with students
• Must be available to work:
  o Mondays 6pm to 9pm
  o Thursday 6pm to 9pm
  o Friday 6pm to 9Pm

o Saturday 9pm to 4pm

• Must be Reliable

This is a part-time in-person role for a Mathematics and Science Tutor at FOCUS Educational Services Inc. The Mathematics and Science Tutor will be responsible for providing online and/or tutoring sessions, assisting students with understanding mathematical and Science concepts, conducting math and science lessons, and enhancing student communication skills. Tutor will be tutoring students from grades 1 to 10.
