JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, with a focus on helping students achieve their academic goals. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, providing personalized instruction in subjects such as Math and Science, and fostering a supportive learning environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Proven tutoring or teaching experience in an asset, particularly in high school Math Functions, Calculus, and other Science subjects
  • Familiarity with Ontario programs, OSSD levels
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly to ensure effective learning.
  • Create a positive and engaging atmosphere that encourages student participation and confidence.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
