JOB SUMMARY

Best Brains of Guelph Northeast is seeking enthusiastic and qualified teachers to teach students aged 3–14 in Math and English. This role is perfect for educators who enjoy teaching young learners in a supportive and structured environment. Teachers will deliver pre-designed lessons, with no lesson planning required. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication skills, organization skills and adaptability.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a tutor, you’ll work with students aged 3-14 years. We provide pre-designed lesson materials, so you can focus entirely on what you do best: teaching! You’ll be working one-on-one with small groups of students, helping them develop confidence and mastery in Math and English along with supporting them on their learning journey in a fun, engaging, and structured environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging Math and English lessons to students aged 3–14 using pre-prepared materials and answer keys.
• Teach one-on-one in small group settings for personalized instruction.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to build students’ confidence and skills.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and center administrators.
• Participate in training sessions and teacher team meetings as required.
• Teach reading, writing strategies, and Math concepts at the primary, intermediate, and secondary levels.
