POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a patient and knowledgeable tutor to support students in Grades 9-12 in
English and Math with personalized, one-on-one instruction. The ideal tutor will help students build confidence, master concepts, and improve problem-solving skills. Some students may require additional support with organization, focus, or managing overwhelm while learning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

✔ Strong understanding of high school math (Algebra, Geometry, Advanced Functions, etc.) and ability to help with Reading Comprehension and English concepts in general.
✔ Ability to break down complex topics in a clear and encouraging way
✔ Patient, structured, and able to keep students engaged
✔ Experience working with students with learning differences (e.g., autism, ADHD, or anxiety) is a plus
✔ Previous tutoring or teaching experience preferred

✔ Provide one-on-one tutoring in Math and English for middle and high school students
✔ Adapt teaching methods based on different learning styles and challenges
✔ Help students build confidence and reduce stress around math concepts
✔ Support students in subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, and Advanced Functions
✔ Track progress and communicate with parents about student development
