We are currently looking for a dedicated and passionate Academic Tutor to join our team in Chilliwack. This role is essential in helping students reach their academic potential and achieve their goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong subject knowledge in the areas being tutored.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning styles.
• Reliable transportation to travel to students’ homes in Abbotsford.

EDUCATION:

• Secondary School (required)

• Provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring in subjects such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies, with a primary focus on math and/or science.
• Develop custom lesson plans and learning strategies based on each student’s unique needs and learning style.
• Assist students with homework, assignments, and test preparation.
• Track student progress and offer regular feedback to parents and the Tutor Doctor team.
• Encourage and motivate students to develop a love for learning and achieve their academic goals.
