SUMMARY

We are seeking an in person Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Exploring Scholar. In this role, you will have the opportunity to educate students in math, fostering a love for learning and critical thinking . Teachers will teach at our in person location in North York, ON. Ideal candidates will teach at a day school, or are in teacher’s college or in an education related field.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math or Education with a focus on Math is required; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Have teaching experiences in mathematics for any grade from grade 6 to grade 12 (required).
• Teachers will have a strong academic proficiency and confidence in teaching mathematics, demonstrated during the selection process.
• Instructors must be proficient in online teaching tools.

• Deliver high-quality lessons to small classes of students.
• Prepare lessons within guidelines and Mark homework and assessments.
• Help promote students’ interests in the subject.
• Teachers will work a minimum 4 hours per week.
